A “30x wagering requirement” is not one number. It is two: the multiplier on the bonus and the contribution rate of the game you play. Casinos advertise the first and file the second in a terms table most players never open. The gap between the two numbers is where bonus value quietly dies.

A contribution rate (also called game weighting) is the fraction of each bet that counts toward clearing a wagering requirement. Worked Example: Slots vs Roulette on the Same Bonus
European roulette carries a 2.7% house edge on every bet, lower than most slots. Suppose an operator weights roulette at 20%.
